Basketball – College:

  • Only 1 game that’s ranked vs ranked this week (Wednesday): 18. Michigan at 8. Villanova @ 5:30pm on FS1
    • I will only be putting the Top 10 games that are on TV as there are too many games per week to put the full Top 25. I will include ranked vs ranked games even if both teams are outside the Top 10. If someone has a team they would specifically like me to add, I can do that. Just comment below.
  • Pepperdine canceled their game at home vs Cal St Northridge due to those crazy wildfires. The team is scheduled to go to a tournament in CO before heading to Hawaii.
  • The Washington team bus blew a tire and caught fire after they lost to Auburn on Friday. Everyone was ok.

Basketball – NBA:

  • Steph Curry is out for the next 2 games (Clippers and Hawks) due to a groin strain.
  • The Warriors are offering passes to get into Oracle Stadium for $100/month. This does not guarantee you a seat or view of the live game but you can enjoy the ambiance of the bars and restaurants in the stadium while watching the game on their TVs.

Football – College:

  • 8 teams went down in the Top 25. Only 2 of those were in the top 15.
  • GameDay will be live from UCF for the UCF vs Cincinnati game.
  • Louisville fired their coach Bobby Petrino after their 2-8 start. During his 2 different stints at the school, Petrino was 77-35.
  • Other losses in the top 25:
