Basketball – NBA:

    • Lakers forward Brandon Ingram for 4 games
    • Lakers guard Rajon Rondo for 3 games
    • Rockets guard Chris Paul for 2 games
  • Trae Young put up 35 points with 11 assists against the Cavs. That’s the best line by a rookie since Steph Curry himself. The Hawks won 133-111. The Cavs are now 0-3.
  • College Basketball returns Tuesday Nov 6th with notable games of Duke vs Kentucky and Kansas vs Michigan St

Football – College:

  • 5 teams went down in the Top 25 this week including a huge upset by Purdue who put a beating down on #2. Ohio St to win 49-20. This caused Ohio St to fall to #11. And ICYMI #TylerStrong but before you watch the story, be sure to have the tissues out.
  • The Michigan vs Michigan St game loved up to the rivalry. It had everything:a weather delay, snide comments from coaches and some light field vandalism.
  • College GameDay is in Gainesville, FL for the #9 Florida vs #7 Georgia game. Time to see if Florida is for real and if Georgia can bounce back after that embarrassing loss to LSU.
  • TCU WR and star KaVonte Turpin was arrested Sunday for assault. This was after the scored a 99 yrd kickoff return against the Sooners on Saturday.

  • NBC’s Johnny Miller is retiring after 30 years on the job as the leading golf analyst. His replacement is Paul Azinger, PGA Champion in 1993 and 2008 Ryder Cup captain, has been hired to replace him. Miller’s last tournament will be the Waste Management Open in Phoenix. This is his 7th title overall in the moto series with previous titles in 125cc World Championship in 2010 and the Moto2 Championship in 2012. There are still 3 races left however the point differential makes it impossible for anyone to catch Marquez. This title puts Marquez as T-3rd on the overall MotoGP titles list behind Giacomo Agostini (ITA) and Valentino Rossi (ITA).

Olympic Sports:
