• Old Dominion upsets 13. VTech. Old Dominion had only a 1.8% chance of winning, the worst upset in 10 years and Old Dominion’s first win over a Power 5 team. Kentucky, Texas and Texas Tech were rewarded for winning against their ranked opponent with a spot in this week’s rankings. See for yourself

NFL:

• William Hayes, Dolphins DE, tore his ACL on Sunday trying to avoid a flag on a sack.
• Baker Mayfield named starting QB for the Browns.
• Hall of Fame WR Tommy McDonald dies at age 84. McDonald previously played for the Eagles when they won the 1960 NFL Championship. He also was apart of the 47-game winning streak at the University of Oklahoma.

MLB:

Golf:

• Tiger Woods wins the TOUR Championship as his 80^th PGA Tour victory. This is his first win in 5+ years or 1,876 days! After his personal life struggles and 2 back surgeries, Tiger was overcome a lot to get back to the top.

• This week is the Ryder Cup. Think of it as the European vs USA World Cup for golf. To be played in Paris this weekend. And you have to love their catchphrase: All is fair in love and golf!
• The Web.com Finals were also this weekend. That means that 25 players get their PGA Tour player cards for this year for finishing in the Top 25! The Top 25 money earners from the year already received their cards. Here’s the list! Congrats guys!

Olympic Sports:

• World Equestrian Games competed over the last 2 weeks. This event is only held once every 4 years and brings all aspects of this sport together. The competition brought 200,000 people to the region.
